Quick pages are scrapbook layouts that are completely finished except for the pictures, journal and titles. All the design work is done including the layout , papers and embellishments. These albums are very useful for the beginner to computer scrapbooking as well as for those that do not have much time but want to preserve their families memories in a professional and beautiful way.

Vacation, birthday and holiday memories are just some examples of pictures that are perfect for instant albums. The Quick pages can be used over and over. Adding different pictures, embellishments and journaling completely changes the look. It is possible to complete many albums in an afternoon with one or two instant album packages.

How To Use an Instant Album

All instant album quick pages form Digi Scrappers Corner are in PNG format. Photo editing software that supports PNG and layers is necessary to add your pictures to the quick page. Photo Shop Elements or Photoshop are examples of software that the instant album will work with but there are many others.

To use, open the quick page in photo editing software. Drag the photos to be used on the layout underneath the quick page layer. Position each photo in a picture opening and re size or crop as necessary.

Sometimes there will be a spot meant for a journal on the quick page. If this is the case, add text above the quick page layer. Position the text in the journal area.

If no specific area for a journal has been provided, a journal can be added by placing text above the quick page layer and positioning where desired. Text could also be added to a tag and dragged on the layout and placed above the quick page layer.

Add a title and other elements if desired. Layer titles and embellishments above the quick page layer.

That’s it! The first page of the album is finished. Repeat for additional pages, print and show of your album! This is truly computer scrapbooking at its best!
